The Data Curation Profiles Project was developed through a research collaboration between the Distributed Data Curation Center at the Purdue University Libraries and the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This research was generously supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through two separate grants. The first grant was received in 2007 to develop the concept of the Data Curation Profile (DCP). A second IMLS grant was received in June 2010 for the purpose of conducting workshops to train librarians to create Data Curation Profiles of their own.
